Our Picks for a Sizzlin' Father's Day
Father's Day is a special occasion that calls for honoring all the dads and father figures in our lives, and nothing says celebration quite like the finest cuts of beef. Whether your dad is a traditionalist who loves his steak and ribs or enjoys exploring different cuts, this guide is your go-to for selecting the best beef options that will make this Father's Day memorable.
Prime Picks of Wagyu Beef
1. Tomahawk Steak
The tomahawk steak steak is a visually impressive cut, featuring a ribeye with at least five inches of rib bone, resembling an axe handle. This cut is celebrated for its rich marbling, which renders the steak incredibly tender and flavorful when cooked. Ideal for grilling or broiling, the tomahawk's long bone enhances its flavor and presentation, making it a luxurious and delicious choice.
2. Brisket
For any grill or meat lover, brisket is a must-have. It’s ideal for slow cooking or smoking, transforming into a tender delight that pulls apart with just a fork. Rub your brisket with a blend of smoked paprika, garlic powder, and a touch of brown sugar for a caramelized crust that's packed with flavor.
3. Beef Ribs
Thick, meaty, and rich in flavor, Wagyu back ribs are another great choice for slow-cooking fans. These ribs are best cooked over low heat for several hours, making them fall-off-the-bone. Serve them with a traditional BBQ sauce or a spicy dry rub to really impress.
4. Ribeye Steak
The ribeye steak is renowned for its rich marbling and deep flavor, making it one of the most popular cuts among beef enthusiasts. Cut from the rib section, it offers a perfect balance of meat and fat, resulting in a tender, juicy, and flavorful steak. Ideal for grilling, broiling, or pan-searing, the ribeye is typically cooked with simple seasonings to highlight its natural richness.
5. Picanha
Picanha is a prized cut of beef that is immensely popular in Brazilian cuisine and known for its rich, robust flavor. Cut from the top of the rump, it is characterized by its thick layer of fat that helps keep the meat succulent and flavorful during cooking. Picanha is traditionally skewered and grilled over open flames, allowing the fat to render and baste the meat. The enhanced flavor makes it a great option for any meat lover!
6. Tri Tip Roast
A tri tip roast, often celebrated for its rich flavor and tender texture, is a triangular cut of beef from the bottom sirloin. It's particularly well-suited for grilling or roasting, developing a robust, smoky flavor when cooked over an open flame. This versatile cut can be served sliced into steaks or kept whole, making it a favorite for family gatherings and hearty meals.
7. Father's Day Ultimate Wagyu Snack Bundle
Why have one when you can have a variety? Our Wilders Father's Day Bundle is the ultimate snack pack, which features all three of our Wagyu beef jerky flavors—Buttery Prime Rib, Sweet and Spicy, and original. 4 hamburger buns
4 slices of cheese (Cheddar, American, Swiss, or your choice)
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, pickles
For the homemade burger sauce:
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon pickle relish (optional)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle to medium-high heat.
To make the homemade burger sauce, in a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Divide the Wilders Wagyu ground beef into four equal portions. Gently shape each portion into a patty, about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.
Season both sides of the patties generously with salt and pepper.
Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side without pressing down on them.
Flip the patties and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches your desired level. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty.
While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
Once the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your liking, remove them from the grill.
Assemble your cheeseburgers by spreading a generous amount of homemade burger sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a patty on top of the sauce. Add your desired toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Place the top half of each bun over the toppings and enjoy your delicious homemade cheeseburgers!

Flavorful Fiesta: The Ultimate Flank Steak Tacos Recipe
Tacos have always been a crowd-pleaser, with their versatility and bold flavors. And when it comes to making tacos that truly stand out, our 100% Fullblood Wagyu flank steak is a game changer. Known for its rich flavor and tender texture, flank steak elevates any taco experience to new heights. Check out this recipe for mouthwatering flank steak tacos that are bursting with flavor and perfect for any fiesta.
Ingredients
Wilders flank steak
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
8 small flour or corn tortillas
Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, jalapeños, shredded lettuce, sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, lime wedges, salsa, sour cream
Instructions
Prepare the Flank Steak:
Begin by seasoning the flank steak with minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Rub the seasonings evenly over the steak, ensuring it's well-coated.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned flank steak to the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
Once cooked, transfer the flank steak to a cutting board and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Cut the steak against the grain into thin strips.
Sauté the Vegetables:
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
Warm the Tortillas:
While the vegetables are cooking, warm the tortillas. You can do this by heating them in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side or by wrapping them in damp paper towels and microwaving them for 20-30 seconds.
Assemble the Tacos:
To assemble the tacos, place a few slices of the cooked flank steak onto each warm tortilla.
Top the steak with the sautéed onions and bell peppers, and any desired toppings such as diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice.
Serve the tacos immediately, with additional toppings and salsa on the side.
Enjoy!
These flavorful flank steak tacos are ready to be devoured! Serve them up at your next gathering or enjoy them for a delicious weeknight dinner. Either way, they're sure to be a hit with everyone at the table.

Grilling Guide: Perfecting 100% Fullblood Wagyu Prime Cuts
Grilling a prime cut of 100% Fullblood Wagyu beef is an experience unlike any other. With its abundant marbling and rich flavor, 100% Fullblood Wagyu can elevate any backyard barbecue into a gourmet affair. Whether you're savoring a Ribeye, NY Strip, or Tenderloin, the key to unlocking its full potential lies in the grilling technique. Here's how to grill these delectable cuts to perfection:
1. Prepare the Grill
Before you start grilling, ensure your grill is clean and preheated to a high temperature. For 100% Fullblood Wagyu beef, we recommend using a cast iron or flat top grill. These surfaces provide even heat distribution and prevent flavorful juices from dripping into an open flame, maximizing the taste experience.
2. Seasoning
Keep it simple to let the natural flavors of 100% Fullblood Wagyu shine. Season generously with coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper just before grilling. You can also add your favorite steak rub or seasoning blend for extra flavor.
3. Bring the Meat to Room Temperature
Allow the cuts to come to room temperature before grilling. This ensures even cooking throughout the steak.
4. Grilling Method
Place your cuts on the preheated grill. For a Ribeye or NY Strip, grill over high heat for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting the time according to your preferred level of doneness. For a Tenderloin, grill over high heat for approximately 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, again adjusting as needed based on thickness. Always monitor the internal temperature using a meat thermometer to ensure doneness.
5. Resting
Once grilled to perfection, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, ensuring a juicy and tender bite.
6. Serving
Slice the 100% Fullblood Wagyu against the grain and serve immediately. Pair with your favorite side dishes and sauces for a complete dining experience.
7. Enjoy
Finally, savor every bite of your perfectly grilled prime 100% Fullblood Wagyu steak!
Grilling 100% Fullblood Wagyu beef may seem intimidating, but it is sure to impress your guests and elevate any meal. Follow these simple steps, and you'll be well on your way to grilling Wagyu prime cuts like a pro. Happy grilling!
