FARM to NEED
FARM to NEED
Through the mission of OneCompassion to glorify God by impacting and developing people to build up our local community and our love for local agriculture, the Farm to Need ministry was born.
The newest OneCompassion initiative of Farm to Need holds a special place in our hearts. This ministry allows us to bridge the gap between local farmers and those facing food insecurity in our community.
By using donations to purchase excess and unsold products from our local farmers, we are able to provide nutrient-dense, sustainable food to local food pantries. It’s a beautiful cycle of support that sustains both our farmers and those who need it most.
When you shop at Wilders and choose to donate, 100% of your contribution goes directly towards this cause – supporting our local farmers and feeding our neighbors in need.
At Wilders, we believe that food is more than just sustenance—it's a way to connect with our neighbors and support our community. Our partnership with OneCompassion’s Farm to Need Ministry is an extension of that belief, helping to ensure that no one goes without nutritious, locally-sourced food while also supporting our farmers. But we can’t do it alone—we need your help to make a lasting impact.
Your involvement in the Farm to Need Ministry not only puts food on the table for families in need, but it also strengthens our local farming community. By buying from local farmers and providing nutritious, sustainable products to those who need it most, you’re helping create a healthier, more connected community. Together, we can ensure that no family goes hungry and no farmer is left unsupported.
OneCompassion’s Farm to Need program connects local small farmers and producers with community food banks and charities, boosting economic growth for both parties and increasing access to essential food resources.
