Never had this cut before. Guga and other YouTube streamers always recommend this cut. Definitely a more tender cut than most cuts. Comparable to filet in tenderness a d taste in my opinion with a beautiful fat cap (the best part). I will get these again.

Ordered these for a special family occasion. My brother and I cooked them using the reverse sear method. They came out perfectly, 125 degrees medium rare. Family members said they were the best steaks they had ever had. Highly recommended for special occasions.

The strip was good and tender but I prefer the ribeye so far. Every steak I have purchased has been very good. Working my way through all the cuts until I find the one I prefer.
We had some friends over and I cooked a ribeye and NY Strip on my Weber. These steaks lived up to all of my hopes and expectations. Reverse cooked until 120 degrees and then put on cast iron for 30 seconds on each side. Both were fantastic but we all ranked the NY our favorite.
I bought these at a vendor fair after my husband said that they were so good. I surprised him and bought him a pack. My mom who also is vegetarian for the most part had tasted these and said that they were great!
I know many people look at a steak like this and think, no way I'm paying that amount. I've dreamed of having a wagyu steak myself for many years. I finally had it for my birthday this year and I'm here to tell you, no words on any website can do this thing justice. I've heard online youtubers mention it as being an experience and they are absolutely right. Every bite I took of this steak, which was grilled on charcoal very carefully while brushing butter on it, was the juiciest, most flavorful steak of my life. Imagine that each bite gives juices like the first bite all the way to the end when you finally swallow it. EVERY bite is juicy...... to the END! I implore anyone reading this, if you love steak, PLEASE try a real wagyu at least once in your life!
I purchased a steak for my husband for a Father's Day gift. He loves steak, and I wondered what he would think about Wagyu. He loved it. But here is the best part of my review. I do NOT like steak. Don't eat it. I wanted to try some of his to see what the fuss was all about. Oh my. I actually liked this meat. We will order more....emphasis on the "we", as I will be eating this Wagyu!!!
Made hamburgers to try out the ground meat, first time buyer. Used only kosher salt and fresh ground pepper. Flavor was spot-on! Great fill beef flavor, you can eat it with no other condiments and you will get a mouthful of great flavor. Will buy again.
I bought this last year and loved it. I was looking forward to hitting the farmers mkt again in June so i could have it again. Delicious as i remember. a big hit with scrambled eggs
