Memorial Day Recipes for the Grill 🍔🔥

Memorial Day weekend is coming up, and that means it’s officially time to fire up the grill, gather with family and friends, and kick off summer with good food. Whether you’re hosting friends and family, heading to the beach, or keeping things simple at home, the menu matters.

To help you celebrate, we pulled together a few Memorial Day recipes using some of our favorite Wilders products — all made with 100% Fullblood Wagyu beef and Berkshire pork raised right here in Eastern North Carolina.

Wagyu Smash Burgers with WILD Sauce

Ingredients:

WILD Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle relish
  • Dash of garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. Mix together all sauce ingredients and refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Divide ground beef into 4 loose balls. Do not over-pack.
  3. Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle over high heat.
  4. Place beef balls down and smash thin using a spatula or burger press.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and cook 2–3 minutes per side.
  6. Add cheese during the last minute of cooking.
  7. Toast buns lightly and build burgers with sauce, onions, and pickles.

Serve with fries, chips, or grilled corn for the perfect cookout plate.

 


Garlic Butter Wagyu Ribeyes

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Remove steaks from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking.
  2. Pat dry and coat lightly with olive oil. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill over high heat for about 4–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness and preferred doneness.
  4. While steaks cook, melt butter in a small pan and stir in garlic and herbs.
  5. Let steaks rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.
  6. Spoon garlic herb butter over top before serving.

Pair with baked potatoes, grilled asparagus, or a pasta salad.

 


Sweet Italian Sausage Sheet Pan Subs

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Add peppers and onions to a sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil. Season lightly.
  3. Place sausage links on the pan beside the vegetables.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Toast hoagie rolls and layer with provolone cheese.
  6. Add sausage, peppers, and onions to each roll and serve warm.

An easy recipe that feeds a crowd without keeping you stuck in the kitchen.

 


Grilled Berkshire Pork Chops with Herb Butter

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Rub pork chops with olive oil and season generously.
  2. Grill over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side or until fully cooked.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet and stir in garlic and parsley.
  4. Brush herb butter over pork chops before serving.

Serve with mac and cheese, roasted potatoes, or fresh summer vegetables.

 


Wagyu Sirloin Steak Kabobs

Ingredients:

  • Wilders Wagyu Sirloin
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • Mushrooms
  • Olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, and steak seasoning
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions:

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Cut sirloin into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Toss steak and vegetables with olive oil and seasoning.
  4. Thread steak and vegetables onto skewers.
  5. Grill over medium-high heat for 8–10 minutes, rotating occasionally until steak reaches preferred doneness.
  6. Serve hot straight off the grill.

These are easy for entertaining and perfect for Memorial Day weekends spent outside.
