Our WILD Dads: Meet the Faces Behind Our Pasture-Raised Meats

Father's Day is an incredible opportunity to show appreciation for all the fathers and father-figures out there in the world. So, in honor of Father's Day being this weekend, we wanted to go ahead and celebrate our WILD dads! They may be great farmers, but trust us, the men on the Wilders farm are even better dads!

Meet Reid

Reid Smith is our founder of Wilders, and although he is proud of the businesses he and his wife, Jaclyn, have built, nothing brings him more pride and joy than his family. Together, Reid and Jaclyn are the amazing parents of their three wonderful children who love to be helping hands on the farm!

Meet Jake

Jake Newbold is the Director of Agriculture here at Wilders and we surely couldn't do what we do without him. Growing up in the cattle business, Jake is extremely knowledgable in how to raise our herd. He and his wife, Catherine, are amazing parents to their beautiful little girl and together they really enjoy farm life!

Meet Cody

As the Farm Manager, Cody Hairr plays a huge role in the day-to-day logistics at the Wilders farm. Although he is very professional in his work, Cody is also known as an absolute prankster to some! Cody is the proud dad of two and together he and his wife, Turner, enjoy living life to its absolute fullest. 

Meet JT

Although his technical title may be the Facilities Manager here at Wilders, Jason Taylor is a jack of all trades and the go-to chef down at the farm. JT and his wife, April, are blessed with an incredibly beautiful family and one of their sons, Dylan, even works on the farm!

Meet Dylan

 

Dylan Yates began his WILD career with One27 Homes but after helping some projects at the farm, Wilders quickly scooped him up and now he is our Assistant Project Coordinator! He and his wife, Sierra, share two wonderful children and have even made some more additions to the family! The Yates Family loves farming so much they have begun raising some pigs and chickens of their own. 

Meet John

As the newest member of the Farming Fathers crew, John Tart rounds out our group of WILD dads. As Wilders' Farm Coordinator, John oversees the daily feed management and health of the herd. He and his wife, Jessica, have a sweet baby girl and we are so grateful to have him on our team!
