Our WILD Ladies Take Flavors 2024
The 2024 Flavors of Carolina show, hosted by Got To Be NC, marked an exciting expedition our WILD ladies. Last week, Jaclyn, Danielle, and Rachel traveled to Concord, NC, eager to experience North Carolina's culinary scene. For our Wilders team, this gathering was more than just a showcase; it was an opportunity to celebrate the abundance of flavors that our home state had to offer.
Their trip only got better when Chef Em and Kim from No Labels arrived on scene. The catering and food truck duo are known for their innovative approach to cuisine, using local and clean ingredients for their creations.
The No Labels ladies' creativity shone brightly as they prepared a coffee-rubbed Wilders Wagyu sirloin tip steak, accompanied by a refreshing winter slaw and zesty cilantro chutney for attendees to sample. The combination of flavors left guests speechless and had many coming back for seconds.
Adding to the sampling delight was a savory treat: a black p BACON BISCUIT adorned with indulgent BLUEBERRY BACON JAM, featuring Wilders berkshire bacon. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that left the Wilders team and attendees alike craving for more.
Beyond the incredible dishes, the Flavors of Carolina show provided a platform for the our team to forge connections with fellow growers, producers, buyers, and chefs. It was a testament to the collaborative spirit of North Carolina's agricultural and culinary community, where passion and innovation intersect to create extraordinary experiences.
